Treatment Theory of laser diode lens
The development of modern laser hair removal treatment machine,
application and development of selective photothermolysis theory is
proposed. Based on this theory, if the target for a particular
wavelength of light with good absorbency, therapeutic target for
the time equal to or less than the thermal relaxation time, the
heat will be generated after the light confined within the target
goal. So, just select the appropriate laser wavelength, pulse
energy density and illumination can be accurately without causing
damage to the hair follicle damage to adjacent tissue.
Research to date suggest that in normal human hair follicles, there
are two-part structure comprising pluripotent cells, and is the
basis for hair follicle regeneration. One is located on top of the
ball of hair bulge, about 1.0 ~ 1.5mm subcutaneously at; another is
the hair bulb, located at the subcutaneous 3 ~ 7mm. Therefore, to
achieve permanent hair removal, laser should also undermine the
structure of the two parts.
So IPL filter or light guides are the key optical element for IPL
(Intense Pulsed Light) machine, which
filters the UV wave and reserve the useful wave from 400nm to
1200nm for cosmetic laser for hair removal, vascular and acne
treatment.
What is sapphire ?
Single crystal sapphire possesses a unique combination of excellent
optical, physicaland chemical properties. The hardest of the oxide
crystals, sapphire retains its high strength at high temperatures,
has good thermal properties and excellent transparency. It is
chemically resistant to common acids and alkali at temperatures up
to 1000 °C as well as to HF below 300 °C . These properties
encourage its wide use in hostile environments where optical
transmission in the range from the vacuum ultraviolet to the near
infrared is required. Sapphire is anisotropic hexagonal crystal.
Its properties depend on crystallographic direction (relative to
the optical C-axis).
